WordPress Credits is a WordPress community program that helps university students make their first contributions to open source. At Universidad Fidélitas it is part of the SC-270 Computing and Society course, and it runs during the term in three stages: Onboarding, Project and Wrap-up.
Contribution area
I’m currently choosing my contribution area. The options available to Fidélitas students are:
- Photo Directory: original CC0 photos for the WordPress photo directory.
- Polyglots (es_CR): translating WordPress into Costa Rican Spanish.
- Core: code, testing or documentation for WordPress core through Trac.
- WordPress.tv captions: Spanish subtitles for community videos.
Expected scope
Make a real, verifiable contribution to a WordPress contribution team and document each step on this site: what I did, the obstacles I found and what I learned. All updates are published on the blog under the WordPress Credits category.
